Adventure photo + video team elopement wedding birth

wow, what a wild year.

Michael and I love being an adventure photo + video team, and we went through a few of our galleries from 2020 and pulled some of our favorites– either our favorite images, our favorite locations, or our favorite emotions + memories. We love all of our sessions, and here is a short snippet of what 2020 gave us.

we climbed cliffs in colorado,

This epic rock climbing adventure showcased Colorado in true fashion: blue skies one moment, and rain the next. Michael and I love working in different weather conditions and photographing your day it its true state.

welcomed babies in charlotte,

This sweet baby was the last hospital session that I had before restrictions were put in place for Covid. 2020 was a tough year for hospital birth photography, so I am so grateful that I got to capture these moments for this sweet family.

captured epic elopements at 13,000 ft.,

This adventure elopement was what dreams are made of. They hired our favorite caterers, Forage Sisters, to create exquisite food all day long; The sunset for their ceremony was phenomenal; and, hello, THE DOGS!!

celebrated more babies in colorado springs,

All of the babies that we capture make our hearts absolutely melt, but we get a little extra melty for a rainbow baby.

Had weddings change venues so guests could socially distance,

It was a wild year for Covid brides, and we all navigated new territory to learn how to safely celebrate. This elegant wedding moved to a larger venue to accommodate social distancing regulations.

Had full weddings change to intimate lake house events because of covid,

We also had brides go in the complete opposite direction and choose to postpone their larger event, but still have intimate micro weddings and elopements. We loved the emotion that was packed into every micro wedding, lake house wedding, and backyard wedding that 2020 handed to us.

Ran around the desert,

I love an edgy bride that likes the desert sand beneath her feet. We photographed well past sunset to capture the desert for all of the beauty that she has to offer. Check it out here.

2020 was a difficult year, but it still led us to beautiful places, and gave us so many wonderful emotions.

Michael and I, like so many of you, navigated new territory and rolled with the punches. However, we still got married this year, settled into our camper, and traveled to epic locations with gorgeous scenery as an adventure photo + video team. We can’t wait for the awesome mountain elopements, the elegant weddings, and the emotional births that are right around the corner for us to capture.

Michael and I are also stoked to spend more time rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, and stargazing this year, and less time with our camper in the shop (fingers crossed). Are we ready for a new year and a fresh start, heck yeah, but we are still so grateful for what 2020 gave us. Happy New Year.
