Check out our 2020 elopement showcase. 2020 kicked our butt, but we kicked back and had some awesome adventures with super rad couples.

There are a million reasons to love adventure elopements with epic views, but here are 5 of our favorite reasons why we love them! An adventure elopement is a day that involves awesome activities like hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, picnics, stargazing, or whatever speaks to YOU. It’s your adventure, your way.

1. Elopements are unique.

You get to incorporate whatever you want on your elopement. Craving a mountain top view from a helicopter? Let’s go on a tour together. If you like to climb, we’ll send with you. If you want to start the morning off at a spa, that’s totally fine because IT’S YOUR DAY and you get to spend it however you want.

2. Timing is up to you.

If you want to turn your elopement into a three day backpacking trip, you can do it. If you want to have multiple locations (get married at the North Cascades, have a reception in Yosemite), you can do that! It is up to you and your love when your celebration starts, where it happens, and how long you’re celebrating for.

3. you can bring the family, or not.

The definition of elopement has changed. It no longer means that you have to run away in secret to the courthouse (though you can still do that if you want to!). Now, elopements are seen as a way to make your wedding day more intimate, and to include activities that you love. If that includes a handful of friends and family, great!

4. Make it extra personal.

Much like a wedding, you can still incorporate details that are personal to you. If you want to read letters to each other in the morning, you still can. If you want to schedule in a whiskey unity into your ceremony, do it! The personal touches can still be there to make your elopement unique to you and your love.

5. Adventure, adventure, adventure.

Do you have to include crazy adventure into your elopement, no– but do we love it when you do, YES! We moved into an RV full time because we love adventure. Let’s hike, camp, climb, kayak, star gaze, WHATEVER you want to do! Make it wild or make it calm, we love it all.
