Here at Summit + Co., Michael and I strive to capture your soul exposed. Your soul shows all of its stunning true colors when you say "I do", and those are the moments we want you to keep forever. We also have a team of photographers + videographers trained to capture your authentic love journey. We see your soul loving another, and we are there to document it.

Here at Summit + Co., we offer photography and videography as a team. You can pick one, the other, or both.
Choosing a team for your special day is so beneficial, because we have molded your day into a beautiful choreographed dance. I know when to get out of Michael's way, and he knows when to stay out of mine to make sure we both get the shots you will love. We have a flow, and it's smooth.
We have a stellar team of associates who offer the Summit + Co. experience for couples on a stricter budget. They have been trained by Michael and I, and all post-production is handled with care by us.
We also love to travel. Michael and I live full time in a camper which allows us to capture adventure elopements all over the United States and Canada. We frequently make trips to Colorado, North Carolina, and Illinois to capture weddings and traditional elopements. If you are from these states, or if you are along our travel schedule, you might not have any travel fees. In the last year, Summit + Co. has been to Australia, Ireland, Jamaica, The Cayman Islands, Mexico, and all over the United States to capture incredible journeys. We are traveling the globe, and your love is on our list.

Your investment covers so much more than just your photos and videos. By choosing to partner with Summit + Co., you are choosing a journey and a relationship. We have captured small intimate elopements, all the way to massive extravagant weddings. We are very experienced with the demand of a wedding day, and we understand the ins and outs of working in other countries. We have worked years to perfect our craft, and have had everything thrown at us from inclement weather to power outages. Whatever your day brings, we are ready to navigate it.
In addition to capturing your day, we will also walk with you in the planning process. You will receive a wedding experience guide, planning tools, a client portal, and even a checklist or two. We are here to help you in any way to make sure your day tells the story of your love.

This is our favorite option. Michael and I, and our team members, work really well together. We know how to tango to capture your love throughout the entire flow of the day. We also believe that photography + videography combined tell the full story of your love journey.
All of these base prices include the planning and preparation tools listed above, photo + video content, and a print release. Depending on the location of your event, there may be travel fees added on. Summit + Co. frequently uses drone to capture your day from a new perspective, but company members may not always include the use of drone. To view our full packages and what they include, reach out!

You can definitely pick one! Although we work great as a team, you can still hire us separately! You can hire our associates for separate services as well.
Great question! We work well with other vendors and will be happy to collaborate with them to achieve the vision of your day. We have spent a lot of time working out the kinks to be sure that we can capture your day smoothly as a team, but we are more than happy to work with whatever artists you choose!
However, if you hire us for a specific service, we should be the only vendors at your event providing that service. For example, if you hired us for photography, we need to be the only professional photographer working at your wedding or elopement.
We charge little to no travel fees for weddings in Colorado, North Carolina, and northern Illinois. We have specific home bases in these areas, and will travel for free for 150 miles or 3 hours (whichever comes first) from our home bases. Beyond that, we charge the standard federal travel rate of 58 cents per mile.
We also live on the road full time. If you catch us along the way, there are no travel fees. Check out our travel schedule here.
For other domestic and international events, our travel is itemized. We do not have a set travel rate because we believe that by breaking down our travel, we can save our clients money. Travel fees for this type of event could include lodging, transportation, permits, and other fees specifically associated with your event. We are budget friendly travelers-- we love hostels, take public transportation, and have no problem taking that late flight becuase it is cheaper.
We don't really believe in bad weather. We will make sure you are safe, and we will still have an awesome adventure! If you have checked out our travel map, you might notice that we are moving pretty quickly through the U.S. and Canada. Because of this, we can't really "come back next week" when the sun is shining. We won't have you out in dangerous conditions like avalanches, mudslides, or lightning-- but we aren't afraid of a little snow or rain. We acutally love what the rain does to the colors in a landscape! If it does get dangerous, we will reschedule.
You sure do. You have the ability to print professionally with us, and we can guarantee quality prints. We offer metal wall art, wood prints, traditional prints, albums, magnets, and even Christmas ornaments. That said, you can totally print yourself and we will help you along the way.
This is a great question! We do not release any unedited content. We work very hard to establish our brand and produce content that represents our artistry. We will spend hours deciding what images to return and what content to include in your videos, and even more hours upon hours editing. We will ensure that your final content tells the story of your day and speaks to your love journey.
Great question! We are traveling all over the U.S. and Canada in 2020, but we will adventure ANYWHERE. We have photographed worldwide, and plan to continue doing so. Just reach out, and we will head your way! You can check out our current travel schedule here.
No worries! We will still come to you! We LOVE to travel, and capture elopements, weddings, births, and family sessions all over the globe. Reach out and we will give you a travel quote.
Overall, I would say that Michael and I are addicted to fun, and we do what we can to bring that to a session. You will be laughing, and even crying. Our sessions are emotion and movement based. That means that you won't do a lot of "stand here and smile". You will have an experience with one another. We specialize in capturing raw emotion, and we will prompt you to bring out that emotion during your session. It is an awesome journey, trust us.
The amount of photos you will receive depends greatly on your day. For a typical wedding or elopement, you can expect 70-100 digital images/hour. However, if your event has an unexpected occurrence that would hinder our ability to photograph, this number could change. Either way, we will do everything we can to capture and tell the story of your day!
Video footage varies between our packages. We offer shorter highlights and longer wedding films, and your package is completely up to you!
A traditional elopement is typically two hours, and the location is easily accessible for all friends and family members.
Adventure elopements involve remote locations, and activities like backpacking, camping, or climbing. They are more extreme and tend to be 5-8 hours.
