We are so excited for our business workshop and styled shoot this year! This workshop will take place in the Charlotte area. We will have limited space available for both photographers and videographers.
During this workshop, we will teach on our entire business model. This will include marketing + social media, client relations, overall business structure, pricing, and planning. We will also teach on how to work together as photographers + videographers. There will be a posing workshop covering movement based prompts, how to bring out emotion, and how to capture a dynamic range of shots in a short amount of time followed by an elopement styled shoot.
We are currently planning to have one couple in elopement wear (likely a Reclamation dress and a hat for the bride, and a pants/shirt/suspenders combo for the groom) with a bouquet, and details (invitation, rings, jewelry, perfume, nic nacs). We will not have an officiant (as of now). A cake and table settings are TBD.
It is recommended to have a professional camera and a variety of lens options. A speedlight is also recommended, but we will discuss how to use limited creative lighting for elopement scenarios where you might not have a speedlight handy. We will not cover OCF at this workshop. It is also recommended to bring your laptop, or a notebook + pen for the business workshops. You will be diving into your personal business, creating marketing campaigns, and doing various exercises- so a laptop is highly recommended. If you have any questions on necessary gear, or where to rent gear if you do not own it, please reach out!
We will break up into groups to allow everyone to have ample shooting time. Creatives will take turns leading and prompting the couple. When it is not your turn, you are more than welcome (and encouraged) to work together to photograph branding images for each other.

Early bird pricing available until March 1st.
March 1st to September 1st, tickets will be $250.
September 2nd until the workshop, tickets will be $300.
